Every Night

by No1ButMe   Aug 3, 2005

The blade calls her
it says you can depend on me
I won't let you down
just wait and see
she writes her story
leaves the print on her arm
just another lonely night
that she turned to self-harm
she wakes up on the floor
the problems are gone
she has worked out her issues
this is how she moves on
she goes to school
to face another miserable day
she takes out the blade in the bathroom
and her problems seem to fade away
she hates living like this
another night she gets the knife
she's picked it up so many times
deciding if she should end her life
no one understands her
so they label her a freak
she holds on with no hope
but it's just making her weak
she picks up the blade and slices
once again she's lost the fight
another incision, another slice
this is what she goes through every night...

That was really good. Very relatable.
For some reason I think I'm going to sound like a broken record with your poems by saying 'very relateable'.

    Always here,
