To Forget Who I Am

by JeBeGood   Aug 3, 2005

A black hole swallows me as I sink into this
It's the snowy residue Im craving, pure white euphoria it is

The light turns the blackest black when I fall down
Another bad day, another crisis I can't handle, another dream I let slip

As I stare into my fate, there's two roads to take and I choose to forget
With one sniff I'm there, where it's happy and I smile, where I walk away from my truth, where my tears freeze up and the past is the past, where the the tragedy I live seems so far gone

When I fall back is when the deepest truth peeks through
A vision of me with sunken eyes and a foreign stare
I remember where I am and I vow never return to where I have been

A razor blade hits the snow as I roll a twenty and I fall away once again to forget who I am
