Perfect Life

by Ashley Redden   Aug 3, 2005

A perfect girl
And what use to be a perfect life
No one saw it coming
No one seen that she was down
She just kept smiling as nothing was wrong
Even though everything was to much to bare
Barely hanging on
She still keeps the smile
She tries to hold her head high
But sometimes its impossible
She makes excuses
Of why she acts the way she does
So no one will worry and be scared of whats to come
She lies about how she feels
She says "I'm fine"
Behind the eyes
Of what they think is a perfect girl
She fears of what the next minute might bring
So many things has been taken and changed
That she cant accept
And its tearing her apart
As the dark comes
And the darkness takes her in
Laying lifeless
Her hearts done stopped
So much has been lost
Of this use to be perfect life
