Spilling Forth the Truth

by Kelly Katherine   Aug 3, 2005

Surprise and delight are released
Suppression steps aside to confession
A night's sleep is had in peace

Ah, the freedom of letting go
Confession releases the oppression
Honest, true words boldly flow

If only the truth were said sooner
Discretion no longer part of expression
Now measure in minutes, not lunar

The heart dances unconstrained and free
Aggression no longer a possession
Mind, soul and psyche all agree

Honesty and truth telling beseeches
Regression no more an obsession
Lightheartedness finally reaches

Ah, the vitality of the truth!
Depression no longer the question
Unrestrained words, as if still in youth
