There's this boy
he's like a best friend
He's always there for me
even when my heart needs to mend

He tries to comfort me
when I get depressed
With a guy friend like him
I know I'm truly blessed

When I have problems
or I'm feeling blue
I know he's the one
I can always come running to

He holds my secrets
He's someone I can trust
My homegirl is still my best friend
But he helps me too, when times get rough

I appreciate everything
that he does
I just can't seem to
thank him enough

I can't seem to remember
how we became close friends
But I'm really greatful
