Guardian Devil

by Daniel Solomon   Aug 4, 2005

The power hits like a dart.
It penetrates through the concrete.
The demon that holds it lives in the dark.
Unleashing it upon the evil that kills human beings.
You push me away.
I’m here to protect.
It’s the same every day.
The better days are laid to rest.
The darkness is my playground.
The shadows become my disguise.
Within the water I wait and I drown.
I’m hiding from his lies.
My fury is beneficial fate.
My anger is my solemn gift.
I’m the demon who evolves through change.
This curse will never lift.
I change to adapt to your needs.
I bring your heaven to my hell.
I’ll protect you until I bleed.
I’m your guardian devil.
