My Darling You

by sinister   Aug 4, 2005

I dream of dreams that encompass you
Only to awake and find that they haven't come true
Too bad that dreams don't come to pass
For should they, then I might have been happy at last
If my dream were to become life,
Then God would have bless me with you as my wife.

Through you my darling
I fell into the pit of sadness
And was forced to drink from the well of disappear
Chained by the shackles of depression
And crucified on the cross of loneliness
My heart was pierced by the double edged sword of torture and torment
You left me a broken man.

But brighter days are ahead is what they say
For now I'll have to deal with the Grey clouds that engulf my sky's
And the sound of the rolling thunder that echoes in my empty soul
The sun is raising but I still can not see
It's human nature after all to realize the bad before the good
But then again there's been no good since you left me.
My darling you.
