Torn In Two

Torn between two worlds I stay
Upon this middle ground – the sky so grey
Above me, sweet heavens purity
Below, hell – a pain so untold

I cannot leave here
I cannot stay
My soul ripped in two
A small price I shall pay

Above the white clouds
The angels call my name
To join them in their blissful world
Promising it shall never be the same

Below this crusty soil
Trapped in my lonliness
Dark clouds of death
Envelop my wasted soul

Torn between two worlds I stay
