Hello? Help! Listen to me
Hear these sounds of which you can’t see
Hear me quiver, shake and sigh
As broken tears run down my eyes

Hear me stumble across the ground
As my cries and pleas harshly rebound
You hear the world, skies, trees and birds
But nobody hears my broken words

My broken words
That’s what they are
They’re ripped in two
They leave a scar
They are not heard
They’re shut away
To be ignored
With nowhere to stay

I’m screaming at you
My lungs going dry
Just like my eyes
From which I’ve cried

My voice goes unheard
I wonder why I try
My words are silent
Is it all a lie?
