Gemini's Resolve

by Amanda   Aug 4, 2005

Even my fickle heart cannot deny
The love it holds for you is fathomless.
My honest soul unfurls her wings to fly,
Seeks you out for the truths in your kiss.

I curse the other face of the Gemini,
Who cannot trust the chance of bliss.
That frightenend twin, she ponders,Why,
Can love truly be as easy as this?

And in her fears she cuts those wings.
Frightening a love she will not see.
I've faced that twin, the pain she brings.
Pain turned to wonder, how it must be.

The plea for love is not yours to give,
You've taken this test long ago.
From both my hearts, and as I live,
My open arms and open hands will never tell you no.
