The Lullaby Song

*I wrote this with my friend to his guitar music. It's better with the music and it's more a song... It's quite long as well actually and some bits are repeated but yeah... you have to hear it... Thank you*

Blinded by my tears,
All blurred except for my fears,

Get rid of the haunting shadow that lingers,

Whisk me away to that far of place,
Where there is everything but a judging face,
Where I can sit and watch the birds sing, as they flutter by,

Stay with me all through the night,
Sing to me… slowly, whisper the lullaby.

Into the darkness where the monsters lie,
The blue has been swallowed by a cold, dark sky,
Feel their eyes as you walk and roam,
No way to find the way back home,
The familiar sights that make me feel so lost,
Is there such a thing as freedom…? And if so at what cost…?

Deafened by the sound of a broken hymn,
Numbed by the coldness escaping from within,
