Shadow

I lie here in my room
thinking about that day
you left me there
with nothing more to say

i turn to my side
i swear i see you
i want to run and hide
but it's just a shadow

when i wake
i swear i see your face
i sit out by the lake
and remember it was just a shadow

now your just shadow to me
