My Heart is Dying (about cutting)

by LindsayFound   Aug 4, 2005

I think my heart is dying,
They aren't even trying,
To help me out.
When they learn how I deal with it, they shout.
That it's a filthy, dangerous habit.
They don't understand why I turn to it.
That beautiful, glimmering knife.
They say it will take my life,
But I know the truth.
It cures all the problems, right to the roots.
But it doesn't last forever.
They will say mean things over and over.
Then the cycle starts all over again,
Having to cure my pain.

***8/4/05***
I wrote this after school today (which sucked) and I was feeling depressed so this is the product of my pain
