Now They're Gone

Watching fire burn silhouettes alight
Destruction causing chaos in withering delight
Burning to charcoal as a city stands bare
Forgotten in a world with no one to care

Bodies along the streets, dumped and dead
Twisted and broken with memories unsaid
Those that stand here in bitterness alive
Cry their tears upon the souls that died

In this game of war your brothers took part
As bombs rained down, tearing cities apart
Into the war these soldiers were born
Now their names recorded, the boys are gone...

    Heya,
    I liked this because it shows how bad war is and how many people suver(sp?)
    the flow was pretty good and it was easy to read while enjoying it at the same time.
