The rain would fall
The grass would grow
But none else
Would seem to know
The sky grew dark
The trees all died
I just sat their
Alone and cried
The wind would howl
The leafs would fall
I couldn’t try
Not at all
The days grew shorter
The weather worse
I had fallen
Into life’s curse
My love had gone
And I did not no
That if I dwelt in the pass
My life would go
