Lonely Path

by Some Random Human   Aug 5, 2005

Once again I walk this path,
two minus one, you do the math,
I'm on my own, it is only I,
I'm all alone, until I die,
yet this path, I tread again,
I just tread, through thick and thin,
I tried to keep it simple, but I'm so confused,
like an old temple, my love is never used,
yet down this road I do travel,
and all of my hopes seem to unravel,
but even in the greatest of pain,
I listen to my heart, and not to my brain,
and one day I hope to find my way,
my way back to you, that I do pray...
