Shining Through Darkness

There are clouds in the sky
But you refuse to stay hidden
As your rays break through
And hit the ocean
A strange warmth surrounds me

It's getting late
Darkness is fast approaching
But still you're determined to shine through

To share your beauty with the world

I continue to watch
Your glow so enticing
Like angels declining from the heavens
Touching down ever so carefully
