Why Mom?

At nite I lay awake and wonder where you are
I know its close but yet it seems so far
How could you put me through all of this
You left one nite with a simple goodnite kiss
Is it really to much for me to ask to see you
I know that you feel guilty you have to
Actually you must really not even care
If you did all those years you would have been there
You are the one person that I really need
So look at this poem and carefully read
Theres only one thing I want to know
Why did you really have to let me go
There are so many things I hate you for
Mostly the fact that you walked out the door
Even through all of this I still love you
But theres one thing that I need you to do
Fix all of the time that you made me cry
And answer the one question WHY?
