Backstabbers

by queen of hearts   Aug 7, 2005

Appearing harmless coming to you with an inviting grin
Asking for your friendship
You being eager you quickly accept not knowing what you have done
Thinking they can do nothing wrong
But when your backs turned they true face comes out
And once they’re identity is revealed they go into denial.
Blaming whoever in sight just to clear their names
Even the people their closet to
Not caring about the feelings or destruction caused to those people
And if you’re not careful you can be pulled back into the same cycle.
