This love

by SammiBABY   Aug 7, 2005

I question the unanswerable,
The oldest difficulty existing,
I ask myself the hopeless riddle;
“Why is this feeling persisting?”

I search each dimension
For any answer I can find,
For I need justification,
As this plays on in my mind.

I see myself with many wishes,
Like, for us to slowly dance,
But deep in my soul I know the truth;
I shall never get this chance.

I have found myself in the hell,
That seems to feel like home,
Where I have fallen into pathetic devotion;
The only love I’ve ever known.

There is no valid reason stated,
To explain why I fell for another stranger,
And left myself in this difficult position
in my common age-old danger.

So I find myself falling deeper,
Into a love horribly impure,
But my naivety leads me time and time again,
To this love I must endure.
