Prayers

Apologetic remorse flows threw my heart.
The lakes of worthlessness fill within the soul I enclose.
Disfigurement plagues the flesh I’m trapped in.

Cloudburst lingers above my cheeks.
With out a place to call my own, there is not a home.
Weary feet are perpetually searching for a place to rest.

Heads turn from my shadows when I approach.
Voices dimmer as my foot steps are heard.
They seize haste to escape the stench of my decaying heart.

Ascending for my fall, I stare in the heavens.
I lost my link in, now rapture is one stepping short.
Mouth in awe I repent my peccadillo, when plummeting toward pandemonium.

The Archfiend grasps my neck, pushing me in the brimstone river.
Drowning in abysmal screams reserved to damned, and the eternal gnashing of the teeth.
Quench the thirst with hellions flame; bite in to charred skin of my soul.

Salvation threw these doors; you welcome me with your bloody arms open.
With out the fruits of life I’ll forever be bound to huger.
Despair an empty life to death when I denied the Key to the great pearly gates.
