Space Shuttle Columbia Tribute

by FELTON PHILLIPS   Aug 7, 2005

On a mission, hurling upward and out into an incredible void.

Staring fear in the face.

Willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for the benefit of all humankind.

Our cosmic juggernauts go forward.

Shedding earthbound restraints
The difficulty goes unappreciated by the masses.

Let us not compound tragedy by forgetting.

On a good day, the sun shines, sky's are blue, and the clouds are on the edge of that place where they have been...just smile and remember.
