The day started out like any other
The wind was high and it was wet.
The Sunshine State is prone to storms in September.
We did not know the storm that was waiting.
It was a strange storm, far reaching and frightening.
A storm not of nature but of man.
A storm fueled by hatred and misunderstanding.
This storm was not like the storms we know.
We knew this storm would linger.
It is uncertain how long.
The destruction was just beginning.
World jarring, it is building day by day.
There is no way out.
We stand exposed, naked.
It is only our faith that will shield us or perhaps lead us to our destruction.
