The Dance

by FELTON PHILLIPS   Aug 7, 2005

Bodies entwined moving as one, sensing the rhythmic beat
You smile as it touches your souls which have begun to communicate as the music guides you in movement so intricate you close your eyes.

Feelings come to the fore as your skin has come alive.
Absorbing the rhythm, mind and body connect, feet begin to move on top, underneath and in between thumps and taps till even the syncopated rhythms are fair game.

Your senses are fully engaged as you are surrounded by sounds.
You smile , eyes still closed wishing that it never ends, for this must truly be heaven.

Suddenly the music stops. Your eyes open, but the smiles remain, knowing you will dance again
