Lifeless?

Are the lies over yet?
What if they’ve never begun?
What if you are wrong about yourself?
Can I not hold my own opinion?

The world is full of lies, I know this, but that doesn’t erase the truths that do indeed exist
It is important to have someone in your life you can trust,
I want to be that someone in your life; it is your choice
How could I hurt you? I have no one and no desire to share what you have uncovered…only here, in my poem, which is speaking to you, m’darling
With others your trust may be broken
With me that will never happen
Oh no, I made a promise!
Guess what. I stand behind it.
You do not make promises? No problem.
I am not asking you to promise a thing
I only hope you will be completely honest with me
“And you can’t trust me,” you once said
Don’t be afraid…do not worry about me…or yourself
I do not see how you could harm me…besides, don’t hold back because of your past…I really am “different.” If only you could truly trust me…rather, truly believe me in what I say

If you are thoughtless, it is because no one has been thoughtful enough toward you beforehand
If you are loveless, it is not your fault…only now you need to let love in, not refuse
If you are lifeless, how am I speaking to one who is dead? There’s something left…
If you are without talent, that is in your own stubborn mind (I wish you could see it through my eyes…)

You have been gifted with what is both a blessing and a curse…the ability to poor your emotion, to bare your soul…or so you are learning…
I am telling you, don’t hold back. Do not hold back a thing when you are talking to me.
Let it free…it’s only me…only me…

Why have I tried to befriend you from the very beginning?
The reason is simple; I wanted to know the person who wrote those poems that which amazed me

Questioning is good
I am glad you have
And I hope you continue to
So you will learn…
You have so much to learn,
But that does not make you dumb

You told me what you had wished to tell no one
Again, I ask what bad has come from it?
I am pretty sure I am harmless…honest…

You have said several times, “I have learned once that the closest person to you can make you the happiest, but hurt you the worst [as well]”
And you swear, “Never again”
“I could give less for this bull s h i t called ‘love’”
Yes, it is true, love can hurt, but if you live in fear, then there is so much you will never feel, never experience
You do not care? I wish you would. Maybe deep down you do.

Sometimes you just have to trust people
Even if it means you will face some disappointment
After all, no one and nothing is “perfect”
It all depends on your outlook…
“Having a life and living are two different things,”
I agree, so if you feel that way, and you feel you are “lifeless,” Why don’t you start living?
