These winds
they blow strong tonight
they carry a chill
and an air of sadness
these winds carry the past
memories seep through my veins
as heavy tears
fall silently in to the sand
i fall to my knees
and open myself
expose my pain
for all to see
i will no longer pretend
i have carried this burden
for far too long
