Fallen Angel

Like roots in the earth’s ground
My love shall spread and grow
Thy love blossoms like a rose
To ease the pain and sorrow

Like the sweet golden joy
That shines down upon us
Our love knowing no end
No resting dust

I told thee, love
I told thee all my heart
Thine eyes, beauteous like the moon
And listened for all that thou art

Mine dark haired angel
Sent from the heavens above
Fallen from the sky into my heart
To bless me with thy love
