Get Ready for Life

by Bryan Berry   Aug 8, 2005

Here it comes
It's towering before you
You know what it is
You've feared it all along

It is the rest of your life
It is the cold, uncaring world
It is the challenges and obstacles that plague you
It is your triumph over the strife of this planet
Or it is your defeat at the hands of many

Will you rise to the challenge?
Will you put your soul into what you do?
Will you be lax and fall by the wayside?
The choice is yours my friend

So step up
Put up your fists
Prepare your mind
Eat a good breakfast
You'll need all that and more
If you're going to survive this thing we call life

Strong write and a background message I can relate to very much, because life is a challenge, a contest , a game in which only the strongest survive and one has to be prepared. The third stanza is my fave . :-)

    Keep it up
    Lots of love

P.S.: Please, read some work of mine and comment and vote, too. Thanks.
