The dreamer

by Luke   Aug 8, 2005

It was the end of the line
But I didn't stop walking
Through the night that seemed harmless
Though it shaded my reasoning
The moon lead my way
Through the alleys of my mind
Through doors I've not seen before
To a place void of time

And its here I've not been before
Its here I belong
Its here I've forgotten
A place way less wrong
Than the reality of life
Than the reality of skin
Than dealing with the slander
A place of perfection

I search this new room
And hope of not waking
Oblivious to time
And tainted in apathy
Cause in this dark room
As I lay here at rest
The world becomes darker
With the rise of my chest
