Never To Compare

by ntv650   Aug 8, 2005

Can I find something to which you compare?
That this beauty and passion can’t outshine:
Forever the eve before the storm dwells,
And the ice of winter threatens to avail:
Sometime too hard this life to exist
And often harsh his summer heat shines;
And for every opportunity missed
There lay our worlds delicately entwined.

But you,- eternal you shall not fade
Or loose that imperfection you innocently hold;
Nor shall you become a creation my dreams made,
When forever you’re a story that goes on told:
So long as I have these eyes, with which to see
So long as I have you, and you have me.
