I called you friend for part of my life,
With you I've shared my love and strife,
You've changed me and that's true,
I have to ask 'Did I do the same for you?'
Have I changed your life in some little way?
Did I somehow make you have a better day?
I must know before I go,
The impact of my love you must show,
It took me forever to find,
My friends have my back when I'm in a bind,
I hate to leave you here all alone,
But you all love me you have shown,
Please don't replace me in your heart,
With deepest regrets I must depart,
I don't want to say what I have to say,
You must realize this isn't some play

    I was just wondering if you wrote this poem or did you still it from another girl because my friend sent me this poem in an e-mail but there were so more lines added to it but the lines that were there were exactly alike but it was by a different person who claims she wrote it and has the copy write it is a good poem but if it isn't your work please don't take the credit. I am not accussing you but I was just wondering.
