Painted Black Eyes.

by amandaa   Aug 9, 2005

Teenage girl
She stands alone
Secretly, silently,
Wishing to go home.
Pain-filled girl she stands alone,
Crying and needing, longing to go home.

So badly she wants to go home,
But she's not welcome anymore
Cocaine and marijuana
Have shoved her through their door.

To have felt so much love
And a nice, warm bed,
And now to have HATRED
Hammered into your head.

Behind her painted black eyes,
Behind her stringy hair,
Lies the story of her life,
But no one gets to go there.
