Painted Black Eyes Part ll

by amandaa   Aug 9, 2005

When you look into her painted black eyes,
You see the pain caused from her life.
Look closer,
There's the tear-streaked face,
Caused from her father's abusive embrace.

Can't you see
See the cuts on her wrists?
Her father knows and doesn't care.
He's the one who caused all this.

Chewing on her pencil,
Not knowing what to write.
When the pencil meets the paper,
Out comes the story of her life.

Crying, crying, crying
Her sight is blurred from her tears.
Cutting, cutting, cutting,
Makes her forget about the years.

Jr. High students are monsters,
Off of your pain they get stronger
I know this b/c it's something I've been through
When they see your sorrow, they don't care
They just mock you.

No-one to talk to,
No-one who cares
No-one knows but
She's alone and she;s scared.
Her painted black eyes just make her look angry.
Her painted black eyes make her look like a punk
She doesn't know how else
To cover up.
