Popularity

Everyday i go to school
look at my friends
and what they are doing
for some stupid trend

they smoke and drink
and always cut
prance around
acting like s.l.u.t.s

this isn't who they are
its what they have become
I'm really getting sick of this
it isn't any fun

they are all changing
into people they never wanted to be
just because of one word
'popularity'

i wish there were no labels
no geeks & losers
no nerds or populars
they are just a bunch of posers

because they are pretty
with 'hot' bodies
they are popular
and we are labeled nobodies

is this all really worth it?
changing who they are?
just to be labeled popular
no. it wont get them very far

because in the future
they are going to be nothing
and the ones labeled 'geeks'
will have everything
