Accidental Destruction

Am I the only who hurts myself by accident?
Or do you ever feel like you're letting yourself down
Stuck in this whirl pool of self destruction
Where you have no other choice but to drown

Let my body lose of the shackles that hold me tight
I can’t control these shakes which penetrate my soul
I toss and turn in my sleep each darkened night
As outside my open window the storm clouds roll

While day time hides those tears I cry by dark
The night skies hold secrets whispered in my ear
I listen intently to their venomous messages
I am never quite sure of what I can actually hear

Is it real? Not a person but a feeling in the night
Creeping and crawling through my brittle bones
A cold breeze under my breath that never goes away
It echoes though the depths of my heart when I’m alone

The pain I cause is endless and numerous people hurt
Though I try my hardest to succeed, follow each instruction
Right down to the last word, but still I fail each task
So each night I sit and cry in this accidental destruction
