Perfect

by TaTtErEdXhEaRt   Aug 9, 2005

Everyone is sleeping
and I'm sitting in my room
they rest their heads comfortably
as i contemplate my doom

All the things i pictured
have washed away with tide
and though i cannot run from it
i always try to hide

now I'm left in silence
as the oceans roll on by
reminders of the perfect time
lead me on to cry

if only i had chances
not so many wonders
maybe id be going up
because now I'm going under

i must be strong and patient
and i will soon be free
cuz all the guys tat leave me sad
are all that i can see

he seemed liked the perfect one
and I'm letting him slip away
for now all i have left of him
are memories of the perfect day.
