Sometimes all you have is a fake smile to protect you...but it's always best to know there is someone to catch you. even if you don't see them.

Beautiful but sad at the same time. I know how it feels, I've lived with a smile like that for a long time. But not anymore....... There is someone to catch you, you just haven't found them yet....... Keep the faith.

at first i thought this was a poem from my past with a hint of my present in it but when you said that you were happy it just you need someone to catch you when you fall... you described my present situation... thats how i feel.. I've put on a fake smile for a/b 4 years b/c no one takes the time to look into my eyes and see the pain that has grown into my being and will never leave.. I'm happy God knows i am.. and sometimes i TRULY smile but others i just smile to get others off my back... I've had ppl let me down time and time again in fact i just had a friend literally stab me in the heart (she didn't mean to it was a misunderstanding but it still hurt) and i had to smile throughout the day.. so my heart tho broken goes out to you... love alwayz
