Nightmares

by John123   Aug 9, 2005

As I'm here; laying, thinking.
Some sorrow starts it's sinking.
Then the shadows queerly linking.
Lead each eye to separately winking.
As not to lose the silhouetted inking.
Finally, disbelief starts me blinking;
Every muscle in my body kinking,
And then my teeth start clinking.
Are these demons getting bigger, or am I shrinking?
