Lost Faith

by Amy Woodfine   Aug 9, 2005

I do not want your love any more, for all this time it has been a lye.
I do not need your sweet kisses, for now the are all just poison.

You need not say you are sorry,
for those words mean nothing more.
I gave you my heart,
and you take away my life.

You will never see my face again,
For it is you I was running from.
I will never wish to hear those words,
that put me in a happy place.

You will never complain again
that there is something wrong with me,
For I am not yours any more,
and never will be.

"It is better to have loved and lost,
Than to never have loved at all"
This is wrong, for loving you was a mistake
Following my heart just leads to it breaking again...

You need not to worry,
For I will not cry no more
My life has been taken away
So I new one will be reborn

You did what you had to,
For the life you need to live.
IF I am not a part of that,
then I am sorry it had to be.
I am sorry for that as well.
For now you will be missing

I refuse to be angry, at the one I loved the most.
But you must know how I feel for I can not bare the pain.
You took my heart in your hands and promised me a happy ever after.
I have lost my faith in you... for now and forever
