Been Here Before

by kelly   Aug 9, 2005

Life and Death entwined together,
Nothing lives,
Nothing lasts forever.
The Deathwatch turns forevermore,
The last clock chimes,
I’ve been here before.

Life and Death entwined together,
Nothing lasts,
Nothing lives forever.
The seasons come,
The seasons go,
We see sun
And we see snow,
But through this all
We must know...
That this can’t last forever.

Life and Death, eternal pleasures,
We do not live,
But we last forever...
The seasons come
The seasons go,
We do not see the sun
But,
We see the moon
And snow,
Yet through this all
We all know
That this could last...
Forever.
