Love vs Hate

by FELTON PHILLIPS   Aug 10, 2005

The sun was rising inducing a warm sensation.
Even so, I have become use to the ever present chill produced by guarded emotions.

Many times I have taken refuge in the smiles of children, stealing their warmth to fill the cold empty void.

At times I ponder how two different emotions can be so much alike.

Love and hate are the wellspring of every emotion, the struggle to reconcile them can not only define life but can also take a lifetime.
