Dream On

I’m dreaming of waking up to you,
But woke up to a dream untrue.
Now I sit here all alone.
I’m looking up at the stars,
Making wishes I want come true.

Today I’ll think of you again,
Times where I really need a friend.
I’ll look into the sky,
All the clouds are taking shape,
It shows your pretty face.

You’re always on my mind,
It happens all the time.
I just want to be with you.
You say dream on and
Dreaming is what I’ll do.

Sitting down in class,
Staring into space.
I see the stars ahead,
I’ll wish to leave this place.

If only dreams came true.
I’d spend eternity with you.
Things aren’t what they seem,
But you’re the girl of my dreams.

    Woot! I found one. =] And, I loved that stanza. Kinda reminds me of when I was in school and I'd sit in class and see the guy I liked [who now is my best friend] walk past, And I'd be like *droools* Lol. It was a really sweet poem. And I liked how you -didn't- make the words rhyme perfectly, you made them near rhymed :/ if that makes sense. Anywho. Awesome job!! 5/5
