Subdued Silence

by meg   Aug 10, 2005

A subdued silence comes between you and me,
We don’t need words, we coexist perfectly.
We stare into each other’s eyes, the pathway to the soul,
Being with you makes me feel whole.
It feels as if you can read my mind,
I want to say here with you forever, until the end of time.
I love you, and I’ll never let you go,
All of this you already know.
You are so special to me, everything you say and do,
There isn’t a second that passes where I don’t think about you.
I will never leave you, not in a million years,
If anything ever happened to you, I’d drown myself in my tears.
So please baby promise that we’ll always be together,
Promise me you’ll love me, and be mine forever.
