I Wonder

by Kendall   Aug 10, 2005

She’s so loud and outgoing
When she’s talking about what she loves.
She can spend hours analyzing
The very way he gives me a hug.

She is my escape valve
When my pathetic life gets too rough
I can go to her for anything and everything
Cause her words have always been enough.

She can say anything to me,
No matter how stupid or how blond
I will never judge her,
Though nothing could break our bond.

The one thing that puzzles me most though,
Is how we’re so afraid to open our hearts.
I can only theorize why this is
Because a good friendship is like a fine art.

But I guess we’re so afraid
To say, “I care about you”
To each other in those exact words
Cause those words aren't that easy to undo.

We know its there,
Lying underneath our actions and words.
It’s always an unspoken feeling
That’s felt but never heard.

But whatever, thats not important now,
The only thing that matters is we will always share something unique,
A true friendship deeper than the deepest ocean,
Something that most can only bespeak.
