Little Purple Flower (resubmitted)

by Sapphire   Aug 10, 2005

(I put this poem in the inspirational poems about life, and im going to put it here too because I think it falls under the same circumstance.)

Little purple flower,
sitting on the tree,
you mean so much to me,
and represent so much.

Your middle represents my soul,
Strong and always there,
a home to whoever enters,
and never kicks you out.

Your petals stand for how many times,
my little heart can break,
without shattering into a million pieces and coming to an end.

Your stem stands for my body,
always there for the flower,
no matter what the weather,
always there, always strong.

Your leaves stand for feelings,
they hate it when they're picked off,
and will sometimes give you a wart,
for takeing it from its home.

Little Purple flower,
you represent so much to me,
stong, dependent, never faltering,
you mean so much to me.
