Hold on!!

Hold on she shouted!
Your going to make it through.
But the words were doubted.
And eventually wernt true.

Stay with me she screamed!
Its not your time to go.
It wasnt like I had dreamed.
It didnt go by so slow.

We are almost there!
She frantically yelled, your not going to die!
I could see a tear.
Hanging in her eye.

I glared up.
Into my "hero's" face.
To see closeup.
The last person I would embrace.

She held my hand.
My sight now gone.
Now only listening, hoping she would understand.
Why it was my life I had to make foregone..

The sirens where blaring.
On that lonely night.
One woman caring.
And I put up no fight....
