The Immortal II

by Dayne   Aug 11, 2005

I filled my tub with my own blood,
Countless stabs, I smelled myself fresh,
Killing this body with sickles on my mind,
As I lay naked with marks on my flesh.
I enjoyed the soak while pain persists,
Moments like this are quite repeating,
But pain doesn’t scream from my wounds,
For my doomed life is the ones unforgiving.
Shall I bury myself for no one to see?
Cause I’m not meant for a mortal to keep,
And now another life is taken away,
Why I to witness your horror of sleep?
Time has never known me as human,
It keeps me wrapped in its vine of thorns,
Situated in a world where I truly don’t belong,
Circling a vast land of aged and newborns.
Now take me away with your final grip,
Hear my scream out of nowhere,
Please find the place of well-lit candles,
Blow away mines, and then we’ll be together.
