Frustrated

I'm so frustrated with my friend
she won't even take my hand
even when she needs it most
I just want to host some of her pain

She needs someone there for her
to lure away some of her pain
I wish I could beat the person with a Cain
that did this to her and caused her so much pain

I want to be the person
That she can curse at if she needs to
And be the person that she cries on too
I can't believe that someone would do that to this angel

She doesn't deserve the crap she is going through
Every night she makes an ocean of tears on her lap
I know we live far away
But I am always willing to pay the price for her

Every night she cries
Because of the things that seemed to be tied to her dreams
And it brings tears to my eyes
That she has to lie there and take it
and that she is not able to shake it

I just want her to know
that I'll always be close
And that I'd give anything
To live with the pain instead of her

And sweetie
would you please take my hand
so you can hold your head higher
and maybe get a descent's night sleep in your bed

Just know that also if you don't want me there
I won't stay
I just don't want you to go through this alone
Please tell me
