You said for me to trust you

You protected me
You would help me when I felt lost.
You would help me thru the tough times
You would protect my eyes from what You didn't want me to see

But look where it got me
You started not to call
You started not to care
When I needed you the most,
You were never there

My heart became broken
My mind was lost
I loved you so much
But sometimes loves has its costs

I needed you to be there.
To comfort me when I was hurt.
But you treated me like dirt
But you didn't seem to care

But I guess you got tired
Because this time you're the one that hurt me.
