Little Girl

[was written to be a song but I just thought I should put this in here for you to read and comment on]

She sits there
She won’t let you touch her
She’s too afraid you’ll hurt her
Like she’s been hurt before

Little girl please don’t cry
Little girl it will be alright, you’ll see
Little girl why don’t you come out and play
Jimmy ‘cross the street’s yellin’ out your name

She sits there
In the darkest corner
Far away from reality’s hold
Where she won’t dare go back

Little girl please don’t cry
Little girl it will be alright, you’ll see
Little girl why don’t you speak to them
Mommy wants to hug and kiss the hurt away

Little girl please don’t cry
Little girl it will be alright, you’ll see
Little girl come out from all this sadness
We all want to see that big smile again

She sits there
He said he’d never leave
Why did he lie? She thinks to herself
Why did daddy have to die?
